When you open your Trezor.io/Start (Official) package, you’ll find everything you need to begin:
Before proceeding, ensure the holographic seal on your Trezor.io/Start (Official) box is intact. A broken or missing seal may indicate tampering — do not use the device and contact official Trezor support immediately.
Plug your Trezor Hardware Wallet into your computer using the provided USB cable. A welcome screen should appear on the device, prompting you to continue to Trezor.io/Start.
Open your browser and go to Trezor.io/Start (Official). Select your device model, download Trezor Suite, and follow the on-screen instructions to install it on your computer.
Trezor Suite is your main control center for managing crypto assets securely. It enables you to send, receive, and track coins, update firmware, and configure security settings with your Trezor.io/Start device.
Inside Trezor Suite, select “Create new wallet.” Your Trezor.io/Start device will generate a unique recovery seed of 12, 18, or 24 words. Write these words on the provided card and keep it safe — offline only.
Next, create a secure PIN on the device screen. The PIN helps protect your wallet from unauthorized physical access. Never reuse old PINs or share them with anyone.
Your Trezor.io/Start device will ask you to confirm each word of your recovery seed in the correct order. Double-check every word carefully. Never photograph, copy, or type your seed into any online form or digital note.
After setup, open Trezor Suite to add cryptocurrencies. With Trezor.io/Start (Official), you can manage Bitcoin, Ethereum, and many other supported assets directly through verified accounts within the app.
If your Trezor.io/Start device doesn’t connect, try a different USB cable or port. If it fails to power on, ensure the cable supports data transfer. For lost or damaged devices, restore your wallet using the recovery seed on a new Trezor device.
